I wish I could give this book more than 5 stars. Whether you're being left or doing the leaving, are a career woman or a stay-at-home mom, the bread-winner or the dependent spouse--this book is for you. The advice is immediate. The steps to follow are clear. The author is neutral and factual. This book was exactly what I needed to prepare for a collaborative law settlement, without it I would have been clueless and blindsided. It helped me to know which pitfalls to watch for and what questions I should be asking.. CFinn said Helpful, but Consider Going Old-School with the Paperback Version.. I've found the information in this book to be helpful so far, but I may not end up reading most of it because the Kindle version is driving me crazy. I'm a longtime Kindle user, but highlighting and trying to make notes with my Kindle Voyage is tedious at best. I wish I had gotten the paperback version as I think it would have been easier to go old-school with a highlighter.I would have preferred more real world examples to help break up some of the abundance of information. There are some there, but I have found myself wishing for more since it helps to me connect with the information easier.
