The best thing about the way that Jay laid it out and wrote it is that you don't need a technical background in exercise science to be able to apply the ideas to your next trainin. Unfortunately the book covered the basics which was just a review of every other published work out there. The drills listed in the second half of the book were ok, but again, very repetitive to every other resource online or published. I thought I would be getting a lot more information and drills I could use in my profession, but I came away with about 5 drills out of the whole book. I would not recommend to anyone unless you are just starting out with speed and quickness training.
