One of the most enjoyable and underrated short story writers ever karl melanson I was unaware of Frank Richard Stockton until I encountered him in a short story anthology. What a delight. He writes with whimsey and creates wonderful characters and worlds for them to inhabit. Almost fairy tales for adiults. Bedtime stories you'll love..
