DESCRIPTION:
Haiku Perfection I actually bought this for a friend. I own the "sister" publication - Net Of Fireflies - which I find to be a remarkable read. Originally a gift to me when I first arrived in Australia it still gives me great pleasure to leaf through it's pages, pausing every now and then to enjoy the wonderful water colours therein.. Chime of Windbells M. Cohen This purchase of a used book was beyond my expectations. It turned out to be a first edition in very excellent condition. The first half of the book is a collection of haiku poetry. Interspersed through this section are prints of Japanese paintings. The reproduction is of such fine quality, it is like looking at the actual pieces of art. The second half of the book is a treatise on Buddhism. It is quite informative and sensitively written. Oh, I almost forgotthe entire book is printed on doubly folded high quality paper. This book rates a six out of the five stars.. "A Work of Art" according to Floral Symphony. This has been a treasured book on my shelves for many years. Beautifully published with quality acid free paper and illustrated with Japanese artwork. The haiku have been sensitively translated into pithy couplets of simple English verse that yet maintain prosody and artistic meaning. The book is divided into A Work of Art Floral Symphony This has been a treasured book on my shelves for many years.
