If you want to plan your trip without a travel agent, this guide is a great place to start. It has fabulous pictures, great details about the types of hikes, trails, length of time each one takes, and how easy/difficult the trail is to navigate. The only shortcoming of this book is that is underestimates quite a few trails in their difficulty. Many are much tougher than described here. In fact some described as wheelchair accessible are not easily traversed on foot, but the rest of the book's inform. It's the best on what to do in the Canadian national parks. I had an older copy and it is just about perfect for what to do in the Canadian national parks.
