MyQuiteTime said A Beautifully Broken Tale. As much as I loved Kane, I love his makeshift crew of misfits more. They all have a secret and can't see the value in themselves and what they can bring to the Blackwing crew. Kane doesn't want to be an alpha. So when Air Rider invites one and all to come and tryout you can say it doesn't go well. This is where we meet not only our main characters but our characters for the whole series. Now Logan and Winter are a odd pair. They view life very differently. Now I don't want to give too much away so ill leave you with this. This tale is the beginning and end, love and hate, bent and broken, right and wrong but most. Winter and Logan Mommie2blueeyes06 Gotta say when I first started reading this, my heart broke for both when they were introduced. Winter cheated on by her "mate" was horrible, but fate had a way of making it right. Logan being forced to be a mercenary and then his alpha backing out was an act of fate in the end. Loved Winter's stubborn attitude and how she saw things in Logan that he couldn't. Logan's protective side showed through from the start when it came to Winter and it endeared me to him quickly. Can't wait to read more from kane's mountains.
