A hard book to review This was a hard book to review, as I loved the unique writing style of the author. Very seldom do I need to actually look up words for there meaning, but this was an exception, and they would turn out to be the perfect work for the situation. The books content is centered around illegal commercial fishing, sailing, police. Mark Phillips said Salty. Llewellyn is the thinking yachtsman's yarn spinner. Where Conrad took you to dark places populated by nasty men you never wanted to meet, Llewellyn takes you to places you know filled with people you try to avoid at the bar. I wish he'd write more of them.. A terrific entertaining humorous sea escapade. James G I lost count the number of times the story transited between Scotland and Wales in such short a time. The adrenaline rush and page to page excitement make this novel a must for every yachties book shelf. loved it , as good as all Sam Llewellyn novels
