He fears everything and so the entire village mocks him for being so scared even though his name is Bill the Brave. Bill sets out one day to meet a witch to can help him convince the people that he is brave and to silence their mockery. He is full of fear as he sets out on this journey but manages to reach the witch. She gives him a magic spear with which to kill a mighty tiger who roams the woods outside of the village.
