Prepared to be ripped off Digital version doesn't come with MyLab code.. Basic Technical Mathematics with Calculus 8th Edition (hard cover I'm currently using the 8th edition of this book to increse my math skills. This is well written and thorough. I've had the second edition since the early '70s and still use it as a quick reference. The new one includes the use of a graphing calculator and has many more practical problems in the excercises. Very good for basic math as well as advanced coursework. Topics are limited to technical subjects and it makes a great companion and resource when studying calculus based physics.. Came in worst packaging ever seen wellzy16 First of all the book came in two flat pieces of cardboard taped together like a book sandwich. The cardboard had apparently ripping all the way through the sorting facility. Then when i tried to grab the book out of its crappy packaging, the pages fell out of the binding! I realize it is used but nobody said torn binding. The Book was what i ordered besides the binding problem.
