Don't Bother with this One John Peters I got this book thinking it would be a good exercise for my kids this summer to keep them busy. Now, after about 2 weeks of trying I can't even get through the first chapter. In all fairness, I'm using Alice 3.1 and the book says it was written for Alice 3, but the menus, screenshots, and the examples don't work in 3.1. The images in the book and what's on screen are not even close. As another reviewer noted: the example files don't even open.Finally, there doesn't seem to be an. Very Poor Book - Code example cannot be run I am teaching Alice 3 as an intro to high school students and was looking for good examples of what Alice 3 can do. The "cookbook" discuss examples of what Alice 3 can do. There are two problems:1) However they require downloading add-on's of code the author has written which don't work.
